Under EU CBAM rules, actual emissions can be used by an EU declarant only after an accredited verifier has confirmed them. All figures produced by this service are drafts for you and your verifier to check.

Cost calculator

The free cost calculator gives an indicative estimate based on EU default values, benchmarks and phase-out factors as published at the date shown on the page. It ignores carbon prices paid outside the EU, the cross-sectoral correction factor and the actual certificate price, and may not reflect later amendments to EU law.
